Speaking in Tokyo this morning at a pre TGS Press Conference, Campcom have gone loud and public with confirmation of their new sequel to survival horror Resident Evil: Revelations, released in 2012.
The tag line they bring along with a rather Interesting live action trailer is the phrase “Evil Is Watching”. The core revelations team will be working on the new title with Capcom allowing them to find a new direction in relation to story and protagonists. News did slightly surface of an alleged sequel around mid-August after VG247 cover art appeared on an Xbox server. As of yet platforms have not been discussed.
Capcom also showed off a new Resident Evil HD remake that, they expressed, would include new, “professional voice acting”
A very Interesting point appears for me in the trailer however. What are the humans and Infected wearing around their wrists? It seem's to be heavily emphasised within the trailer, green idicating healthy and red indicating Infected? Or is there a more higher power and control element over humans? Can they be turned in to the undead at the flick of a switch? It's incredibly Intriguing that's for sure.
