Dead Island 2 Alpha Gameplay Trailer

With a release date set for Spring 2015 and pre-orders already available from high-street retailers; Deep Silver are laying their deck of cards, face up with their alpha gameplay trailer for highly anticipated Dead Island 2. Sweeping across air, land and sea all the way from the shores of Banoi, California is brought to it's knees by the zombie virus in what looks beautifully, relentless in all it's blood showering glory. At first glances the alpha gameplay trailer looks incredibly captivating; brutal, colourful, vibrant and with Iconic backdrops such as the Golden Gate Bridge & The Hollywood Hills, pristinely detailed.
Specifically a next gen title it seems that Yager & Deep Silver will be pushing the consoles to the limit judging by the quick snippets we get of the combat sequences that range from the typically hack and slash you would come to expect to the ability to FREEZE zombies to then smash them in to a million pieces! I always loved John Spartan's execution of Simon Phoenix in Demolition Man so I can't bloody wait to be performing kicks to the head on frozen zombies. As you can see the gameplay is Incredibly early in development, whether or not the release date gave it away to you anyway, but already it looks stunningly impressive and a rather less clunkier than it's predecessors.
