It is no secret that the game which sold the Super Nintendo to me was The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past.
Also it is no secret that the only reason I got the original Game Boy was for The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening!
Why did I upgrade to a colour handheld? Oracle of Seasons and and Ages!
You're getting good at this by now, so...
Why did I get an N64? Yep you guessed it...Golden Eye!!!
However the second reasons were Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

So if Mario Kart 8 wasn't enough to push my attention away from Microsoft's latest console well this is!
Fans get some Hyrule action before next years Legend of Zelda Wii U drops.

Shigeru Miyamoto's epic legacy is still going strong after 28 years. There has been some bumps on the way, but no one can ever take away the impact upon the industry, and more importantly gamers, that The Legend of Zelda on the NES had way back in 1986.

The game was revolutionary in all its elements.

Set for a September release, Hyrule Warriors will allow fans of the classic franchise to decimate hordes upon hordes of Bokoblins and Lizafols.
Players will get to play as Link, as usual, however will be able to slaughter countless enemies as Zelda and this time this isn't like the CD-i experience of Zelda being a playable character.
Also Impa, Midna, Lana and Agitha are on offer to adventure with.

Which ever hero you decide to take up arms as, you will have varied abilities and weapons to aid in the defeat of Cia and her henchmen Wizzro and Valga.
The game dips deep into the pool and brings classic characters from all generations together.

The game combines the universe of the Zelda franchise with the game play of Dynasty Warriors, so is an epic battle game.

Check out the official trailers form Nintendo released yesterday!
