Well as is tradition, for every Dante's Peak there is a Volcano, for every Armageddon we get a Deep Impact (wow I can't believe I remember that one), for every Transformers we get a Transmorphers, nah that's not applicable as I am not suggesting either of these new films are as shit as that...do I mean Transformers or Transmorphers...I let you decide that one!

So in 2014 we get two films about the biggest urban legend in Video Game history!
The E.T. Game and its disposal has become a story handed down by generations!
This game and its origins, its production, its legacy has become one of the greatest modern legends and talking points.
People from all over the globe just can not stop talking about it and remembering its impact on their lives and an entire industry.
It is always brought up any time the industry is analysed.
I must admit to be able to even make some kind of claim that you were single handedly able to topple an empire in five weeks, well that technically makes you the greatest revolutionary ever!

So in 2014 we are getting two movies about the most significant event in gaming since the NES got slapped into every home in America.

This time however, as with the Hollywood comparisons, I think we are getting a double treat. Both are different in genre so you get to enjoy both.
First up is Microsoft's documentary "Atari: Game Over".
Kind of ironic that the X Box One original production is about E.T. and the industry getting it seriously wrong???
Well worth a watch though! If you enjoyed Video Games: The Movie, then this is for you!

The other is the much anticipated AVGN: The Movie!
Now like most people I was thinking...
"Bloody hell just hurry up and release this! It's been years in the making!"
Well based on the second trailer you can see why!

This is no half arsed YouTuber feature length project!
This is all of James' experience, gained over the last decade of Nerd videos, culminating into one epic adventure!
I can not wait for this and to see all of the references to previous games reviewed!
Probably will turn the film into a great drinking game movie!
